Presentations Instructions- The long talks have a 30-minute slot, while the regular talks have a 15-minute slot. The speakers should plan their presentations to leave (at least) 5 minutes for questions at the end. - The posters should be in A0 format in portrait orientation. Ideally, it should be hangable, but it is also possible to attach it with scotch. Not possible to pin. - Before each poster session, there will be a dedicated time for lightning talks where the poster presenters will have 3 minutes to explain 1 (one) slide summarising the main points of their work. - All presentations (including the lightning talks) should be named as "NAME_SURNAME.pdf" and uploaded to the event cloud (Binaries SS Cloud) on the corresponding day and session folder. Attention: once the presentation is uploaded, you can no longer delete, modify or move it in the cloud. Please be sure that it is your final version and in the right folder. - A local PC with Windows as the operating system will be used for the presentations, so the accepted formats are PDF, PowerPoint and Google Slides. - If your presentation is on Google Slides, please upload to the cloud a text file named as indicated before containing the link to your presentation. And please be SURE that you have changed the sharing configurations on Google for it to be accessible by anyone. (Top right corner of the Google Slides page > Share > General Access > change from restricted to anyone with the link). You can test if the sharing is working by copying the presentation link and opening it with a private/incognito browser. - We kindly ask that you upload your presentations the day before your talk so we can test that all runs smoothly and to avoid delays that can disturb the following speakers. |
