VenueThe meeting will be held over 3 days, September 15-17, at the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur, in Nice, France. Accessing the observatoryThe observatory is located on the Mont Gros, a nice hill on the eastern side of the city. Although hiking or biking may be an option, we will arrange a daily shuttle for participants. The daily shuttle will leave each morning from Port Lympia, then make a stop near the bottom of the Grande Corniche before heading to the observatory. It will then leave each evening, making the same two stops on the way back. We recommend staying in a hotel in the port or in Riquier to be near the shuttle bus. More details will be provided in due time, including the exact times and location for the bus stops. Attendees can also reach the observatory via the Lignes d'Azur 84 bus (stop "Observatoire") or by car.
Coming to NiceNice is a well-connected city, yet squeezed between sea and mountains: you will find multiple trains and flights arriving/landing in Nice every day, from multiple destinations.
